The stolen ring

A stolen ring, fear of spiders, and a sinister stranger.
Once in Matamata, I-I-I mean hobbiton there was a nice chap called William. William was almost there and he saw something on the ground, and a very strange looking man walking around who looked like he was looking for something. Normally William would ask the person if it was his, but this thing was shiny and gold so he didn't ask.

End of term review

Did I enjoy this term?

Yes I enjoyed this term a lot. It brought challenges and problems but I overcame them in the end. The that I enjoyed the most was probably PE because that revealed how good I am at sport, PE also brought some fun to this term.

What was the best part of this term?

I think the best part of this term was definitely tech, especially music tech, because we have learnt a lot of chords, songs and Garageband. I also enjoyed PE, because sometimes we got to play dodgeball and go rock climbing, I enjoyed dodgeball the most though.

Science fair

This years science fair was challenging because I had to come up with a decent topic. I also had to figure out how to test it and remember to test it. I also had to present it well and make it look good.

Lucan Battison court case

There has recently been a court case here in New Zealand between a year 12 student named Lucan Battison and St Johns College in Hastings. Lucan took his school to court about his hair. The school had suspended him because his hair was too long, but Lucan took his school to court because he thought that everyone had a right to have long hair. The rules state that his hair has to be off the collar and out of the eyes, but he wasn't breaking the rules at all. My opinion is that Lucan has a right to be himself and he should not have to cut his hair.
